Wideband Filter

DiCon's Wideband Filter transmits a narrow band of light at a customer specified center wavelength. The component uses an environmentally stable thin film filter element mounted between a pair of GRIN lens collimators. DiCon's Wideband Filter is housed in a compact, environmentally stable package that offers superior resistance to humidity and temperature and is suitable for mounting on a printed circuit board or within a module. DiCon offers a wide variety of options for passbands and rejection bands.

Applications

Wideband Filters pass one wavelength band while rejecting adjacent bands. They are used for signal isolation associated with DWDM lasers, detectors, and amplifiers.
